Bobby....
We're the ones who are honored by your continuing hard work for the Ride. With the awful weather conditions, you had to set up and knock down at least 3 times that I know of, but like the Energizer bunny, you just kept on going. I have no idea where you get your energy, but if it's from something you eat or drink, let me know, so I can try to same.
You really hold the whole day together for us, and I don't know of anyone else, anywhere, who could do the same. It seems so easy, but we all know how hard you work from early in the morning to late at night.
So once again, we're in your debt. There's no way we can compensate you for your time and your commitment other than to say Thank You ... from all of us, for everything you do to help make the Ride Across Maryland a success.

Dear Bobby:

I wanted to write and let you know how pleased we were by your wonderful performance at our son Adam's Bar Mitazvah party last weekend. Everything was absolutely perfect!

My extended family is from New York, and, as the rest of us know, New Yorkers believe they are the only ones who know how to do things the "right way." Well, I had a ton of comments about you, ranging from "wonderful" to "Better than a band from New York!" You can tak that as the supreme compliment.

As you know, we had attended three parties at which you were the Disc Jockey, and remembered that we had a great time at each. However, when I called to ask if you would be our DJ, one of your comments to me had been: "I don't play games or do contests." So, worrier that I am, I wondered whatever I was going to do with 30 or so teenagers! The comments from Adam's friends echoed the adults -- one of his friends said "Hey, don't lose that DJ's phone number -- he's great!"

You did a wonderful job substituting some of my more "esoteric" candle lighting selections. "Country Boy" and "Law and Order" were definitely superior to my suggestions! And your gifts of the CD -- and the Orioles T-shirt -- were most appreciated.

I don't yet have the date for my own DJ's (Daniel Jay's) Bar Mitzvah, but it will be in about five years, so keep the date open for us!
